A pessoa e a suas dimensões: Um compromisso ou uma visão editorial

Nem sempre a capa que nos cobre corresponde necessariamente ao respetivo interior. Ou aos respetivos interiores. Um artista é o que representa em cena, mas é também a restante pessoa que o alicerça, constrói. Um atleta exibe em campo uma faceta mais destemida, competitiva e feroz, mas quando regressa ao balneário, o seu remanescente respira e as suas outras dimensões voltam a ganhar (mais) terreno, tempo e espaço.

O exercício é infindável: o de analisar e tentar definir as inúmeras camadas que nos formam, em busca de conceptualizar o que nos é mais interior e nos caracteriza. É daqui que nasce a OSENSE. Da vontade de estender este exercício, em busca da génese do eu-plural, refletindo sobre a pessoa numa perspetiva mais alargada. 

Em formato de imagem e/ou texto, a diversidade de formas, de estilos, ideias e lifestyle, são alguns dos tópicos que aqui poderá encontrar – tendo sempre como ponto de partida a pessoa que veicula tudo isto, a sua arte ou o seu ofício, a pluralidade de formas de expressão humana. Sem condicionalismos geográficos e de pensamento, sem imposições editoriais externas, a livre expressão é a principal força-motriz.

Pretendemos ainda chegar a novas caras, personalidades que de alguma forma não estejam perto dos holofotes, mas relativamente às quais se identifica alguma característica particular, algum tipo de potencial. O lado O da sensibilidade.

The Individual and Their Dimensions: A Commitment or an Editorial Vision

To reflect on the human being is to reflect on their multidimensional nature. The surface that covers us does not always correspond to what lies within—or to the many interiors that coexist inside us. An artist is what they embody on stage, but they are also the person who supports and shapes that performance behind the scenes. An athlete displays their most fearless, competitive, and fierce side on the field; yet when they return to the locker room, what remains begins to breathe, and other dimensions reclaim space, time, and presence. And so it goes.

The exercise is endless: analyzing and trying to define the countless layers that make us up, in search of conceptualizing what is most inner and characteristic of us. This is where OSENSE is born. From the desire to extend this exercise, exploring the genesis of the plural self, reflecting on the person from a broader perspective.

In the form of images and/or text, the diversity of shapes, styles, ideas, and lifestyles are some of the topics you’ll find in OSENSE. Always starting from the person who conveys it all—their art or craft, the plurality of human expression. Without geographic or mental boundaries, without editorial constraints, free expression is the main driving force.

We also aim to reach new faces, personalities who, in some way, may not be in the spotlight, but who reveal a particular trait, a certain type of potential. The “O” side of sensitivity.
